Confessions of a Personal Fitness Trainer

Last year I had a number of clients who started stubbornly on the Atkins diet despite my warnings. Immediately I saw almost profound results in their weight loss. I reminded them it was the loss of water weight, and warned of the strain on the kidneys and the high cholesterol risk.

Nutrition Tips: How to Make Building Muscle and Losing Fat Easier

I get a lot of comments and questions regarding
nutrition. Most of them have to do with time. In
other words, people feel they are too busy to eat
5 or 6 nutritious meals a day, whether their goal
is to burn fat or build muscle.


Another time factor is the preparation of these meals,
especially when you factor in trying to get the proper macro
and micro nutrients in each meal - protein, “good” fats,
the “right” carbohydrates, enough vegetables, enough
