From a Rocky Start to a “Rocky” End

The rocky start began before I entered the world; I had only just been realized. My mother was three months pregnant when she had to have a disk removed. The doctors encourage her have an abortion, but she refused. Her refusal saved my life, but threatened hers. Fortunately, both of us were healthy.


Born with three holes in my heart and rheumatoid arthritis in my joints, my entrance into the world was rocky. This should have foretold my future, and it did.
